Tagging people
Adding face tags to photos of friends and family in Phototheca is simple. Phototheca’s face recognition scans your photos for images with people and catalogs when a face is detected. If a face is new to Phototheca, the face goes into the Unnamed tab of People View. There you will have stacks of photos where the same face appears. As you tag people in photos, the app will learn specific faces and match untagged faces with previously identified people.
View and tag untagged
After Phototheca scans all your photos(you can see the progress on the bottom panel), you can start tagging untagged faces. Go to the People section in the Library and the Unnamed tab. Here you can see stacks for each not tagged person that Phototheca found. A stack for a person contains as many faces of that person as Phototheca could recognize. The label on top of each stack shows the number of photos inside. You can hover a mouse cursor and move it left and right to get a quick overview of what’s inside a pile.
Confirm face suggestions
Sometimes Phototheca can see that the features of different faces are pretty close to each other to consider that they may be the same person. For such persons, in the People view, the app shows a hint with a count of possible matches in the blue tag. The tag appears like this:

1. Open Phototheca, select a photo with a person or people, and double-click it to open it in Single Photo View.
