Your photos remain at their original locations on local or network drives after being imported into Phototheca. Phototheca does not create copies of photos and does not move photos.
If you import photos from removable media: memory cards, smartphones, etc. then Phototheca will copy files into a designated folder on a local drive. You can specify the location of the folder upon the first import which requires copying.
To find where your photos are located – do right-click on a single photo and select Open In Explorer menu item – this brings Windows Explorer with the folder where the image file is.
